"Back to the Baseline" is a call to reawaken our roots, reconnecting with the foundational values, knowledge, and blueprints that have long defined our heritage. By embracing our history, we rediscover the resilience, pride, and purpose that empower us to shape our futures and uplift our communities.
In the fast-paced rhythm of today's world, it’s easy to lose sight of the principles that ground us. But when we go back to the baseline, we don’t just remember who we are—we reclaim the tools needed to fuel our potential. This journey is about finding relevance in our past to inspire purpose today!
Education
Reclaiming Truth in History
- Redefining Historical Narratives: Much of African American history is either marginalized or misrepresented. Going back to the baseline means learning and teaching the true stories of resilience, innovation, and impact.
- Recognizing Intellectual Heritage: African American contributions to literature, science, and philosophy have been understated. Reclaiming these achievements builds confidence in our intellectual legacy.
- Reevaluating Humanities & Social Sciences: Textbooks often miss the complex realities and cultural richness of African American history. Embracing the full narrative helps redefine identity for future generations.
